Most residents of Rosemead are of Asian descent, with large Chinese and Vietnamese communities, and restaurants crowd both Valley Boulevard and Garvey Avenue. Panda Express has its corporate headquarters in the city. For about twenty-five years the rooster-labeled sriracha sauce of Huy Fong Foods was made in a Rosemead factory before production moved to Irwindale.
